"It is not about the shape of your body but rather the shape of your life.  YOU are a beautiful breathing human being moving with grace year after year while adapting to the concept of aging.  It's never too late to live a life of movement.  Movement does not stand alone, it is partnered with stretching and strengthening.  Hence we find balance".

When I was 18 and a senior in high school, I was diagnosed with acoustic neuroma after many months of imbalance and severe inner ear pain.  In August of 1978 time stopped for me.  The experience had a profound effect on my life.  After surgery, I was left deaf in my right ear and partial facial paralysis.  There were times I felt deeply depressed but I knew there was only one way to go and that was full steam ahead!  As my hair grew back and I continued to strengthen my body and mind I realized I began to feel better about myself:  physiologically, psychologically and energetically.  During the years that followed, I continued to be true to myself and follow my passion for movement.

After 10 years in Corporate, I have been a certified instructor for 23 years in studios, gyms, corporations, libraries, schools, hospitals and in-home private sessions.

Our bodies are built to move with our amazing joints, long limbs, strong muscles, and supportive bones which are all encased in a soft skin that is enriched with beauty as we move through life.  Love your body and it will love you back.
